In “Top 7 ways to experience the true heart of Genoa, Italy” “by Madeline Jhawar on Feb 16, 2017” sono elencate alcune esperienze imperdibili a Genova, questa “fantastic under-the-radar destination”.
Innanzi tutto si consiglia di visitare il centro storico e mangiare la focaccia: “this typical Ligurian bread is a must-try for any visitor to Genoa, and can be eaten for breakfast or lunch (or both!)”. Il blog indica anche quelli che, secondo l’autrice, sono i negozi megliori dove gustare questo “typical Ligurian bread”.
Madeline Jhawar consiglia anche di provare il pesto, la pasta fatta in casa, il gelato di Boccadasse , ovviamente senza dimenticare di vitare il borgo “full of yellow, orange, and red houses on the sea”.
Altre località raccomandate sono la passseggiata di Nervi, Palazzo Ducale (“not only a gorgeous building from the outside but a wonderful place to experience local art and culture”), Spianata Castelletto (“the views from this area of the city include the rooftops and towers of the city center and the cranes of the port”) e via Garibaldi, magari gustando una granita siciliana in un noto locale.
